SDG Accountant specializes in a wide range of services, including Bookkeeping, Personal and Corporate Tax, Payroll, Financial Reporting, Small Business Advisory, HST, and Incorporation services.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tax Accountant, based in Toronto, ON, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Tax Accountant will manage key tax compliance and preparation activities, including personal and corporate tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing reports, and offering insights and support for client financial strategies. The Senior Tax Accountant will also provide expertise and advice on accounting matters and mentor junior team members as required.QualificationsProficiency in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation (T1's, T2's and T3's)Strong Technical knowledge of Accounting and preparation of Financial Statements and Accounting principlesCPA designation or a similar professional accounting qualification is preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlinesExperience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and tax filing systems (Tax Prep)Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to personal and corporate taxEffective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members #J-18808-Ljbffr
