Learn more about the role Your main responsibilities Asphalt laboratory testing to match current LS Manual, OPSS, and ASTM requirements – Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in mainly a central lab environment and occasionally in a mobile lab environment. Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and / or holding. Data entry using basic software. Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor. Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions. Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules. What makes you unique Technical Diploma in a field related to Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. Experience in Asphalt Laboratory and testing is mandatory. Soil and Aggregate testing an asset but not mandatory. More than 2 years of experience in construction / highway materials sampling and testing. CSA, CCIL or ACI certification (asset). Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly. Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and / or holding. Data entry using basic software. Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor. Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules. Demonstrated interest and sensitivity towards occupational health and safety.
