Municipal Engineer

Position Overview We are looking for a Municipal Engineer – Infrastructure Development with the City’s One Stop Development Shop. The incumbent will review and approve municipal servicing plans, drainage systems and utility installations for new development. The role provides client‑focused, quality, cost‑effective professional engineering support and project management related to construction, operation and maintenance of water, wastewater, storm drainage and transportation systems and sustainability of municipal infrastructure. You will be part of a technical team responsible for formulating engineering solutions, providing direction to technical support staff, engineering consultants, developers and contractors while supervising municipal development. Essential Qualifications Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent interpersonal and client‑focused skills. University degree in civil engineering. Experience in construction, consulting or municipal environment. Professional Engineer licence and eligibility for registration with APEGNB. The successful applicant may be eligible to participate in a Flexible Time Options Program which includes the option of working a 4 or 5‑day work week, subject to business requirements.
