OverviewTitle: Lesson Coordinator/Sales and Rentals AssociateDepartment: Music LessonsHours: Full-time permanentAvailability Required: Weekdays, Weeknights & WeekendsLocation: 910-A boulevard Iberville, Repentigny, QCJob DescriptionYou will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of the Music Lesson Centre. Working with the Director of Music Education, you will ensure consistent application of the Lesson Centre Policies and Procedures.Interview, select and provide orientation for suitable teachersCoordinate teacher schedules and room schedulesPromote and market the Music Lesson CentreRegister students and enforce attendance and payment policiesMaintain accurate student and teacher attendance recordsConfirm and administer teacher paysTrain and supervise lesson staffManage overdue or delinquent customer lesson accountsResolve student and parent problems and complaintsDevelop and coordinate group programs and classesSchedule and plan bi-annual student recitalsEvaluate teachers for job effectiveness and rate increasesLiaise with store staff to promote and market Long & McQuade products and servicesMaintain studios and studio equipmentRegularly review Lesson Centre revenue and growth projectionsJob RequirementsMinimum three years of instrumental music studies in school or through private lessonsStrong knowledge of music educationMust be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekendsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsProven sales and customer service skillsBasic office administration and customer account management skillsAbility to manage peopleAdditional ResponsibilitiesHelp our customers through the selling and renting of musical instruments and gearDefine the individual needs of every customer and match those needs with the right combination of our products and servicesDemonstrate recommended products to customers and explain their features and benefitsAnswer telephone calls in a timely and professional mannerFollow up on product orders with customers and suppliersUse our common sense approach with customers to troubleshoot and solve problemsMaintain in-depth and current knowledge of our products, policies and proceduresAttend weekly staff meetings and periodic training sessionsMerchandise store to create an inviting environment for customers to shopParticipate in store maintenance, warehouse duties, and other related tasksJob RequirementsMust be a musician who plays at least one instrumentMust be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekendsExcellent verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and steady composureProven strong work ethic and commitmentHigh levels of energy and enthusiasmAbility to excel in a fast-paced environmentAbility to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive mannerGood organizational skills and attention to detailPrevious experience in retail or sales is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
