Job Description Join our team at the Seabee Gold Operation—our only gold‑producing facility in Saskatchewan located about 500 km northeast of Saskatoon. This role supports sustainable value creation, environmental stewardship, and community engagement through high‑standards of safety, sustainability, and inclusion. Your New Role Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Operations, the Electrician will work with the entire Electrical department and provide operation and maintenance support across all areas of SGO. The position involves managing jobsites and tradespeople, hands‑on electrical trade work, and adherence to safety and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Programming, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical equipment. High‑voltage systems maintenance. Installation of new equipment. Perform calibrations on process instruments. Maintain all new and used equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on required equipment. Repair mining equipment such as drills, fans, and pumps. Read schematics and troubleshoot electrical circuits. Execute all hands‑on electrical trade work (conduit, wiring, etc.) for general industrial installations. Manage small to mid‑size projects, interfacing with other departments. Operate and maintain equipment and auxiliaries safely and efficiently. Respond to emergency situations as required. Report deviations to established procedures. Document and keep accurate records of work performed. Your Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership, management, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Work both independently and within a team environment. Adaptability to a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment. Professionalism and discretion with confidential information. Positive and proactive attitude toward safety. Education & Experience Journeyperson certificate in Electrical. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience. Mining industry experience, especially underground, considered an asset. Strong mechanical and heavy‑industry experience considered an asset. Working Conditions The position follows a 2‑weeks‑on, 2‑weeks‑off schedule at our remote camp. Candidates will be required to fly in/out with pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. Stipulations & Health & Safety All employees must comply with SSR Mining policies, the Code of Conduct, and Safety, Health & Environment procedures. Drug and alcohol testing is required for all positions. Recent recreational marijuana use may fail the test as it can remain in the system up to 30 days.
