The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing client invoices, reconciling accounts, managing payments, and ensuring accurate financial documentation related to trade finance transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and review client invoices with a high level of accuracy and completeness.Maintain and update records of invoices, payments, and outstanding receivables.Reconcile billing data, investigate discrepancies, and ensure alignment between internal systems and client information.Manage incoming payments, ensuring proper allocation across accounts (including internal and external transfers).Prepare transfer memos and arrange foreign exchange contracts when required.Monitor unpaid fees and proactively follow up with clients.Investigate and resolve payment and billing issues in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.Handle sensitive or complex financial transactions, escalating cases that require management approval.Maintain consistent documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures.Candidate ProfileExperience: 3–5 years of experience in trade finance operations, particularly with letters of credit and periodic fee calculations.Technical Skills:Familiarity with SWIFT messaging.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Knowledge of syndicated loans or syndicated LCs considered an asset.Prior experience in LC billing strongly preferred.Languages: Fluency in English (French is an advantage).Communication: Comfortable interacting with clients, banks, and internal teams by email and phone.Core CompetenciesAttention to Detail: Ability to spot and correct discrepancies in invoices and financial records.Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to address complex reconciliation issues.Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication.Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.Adaptability: Flexibility to handle evolving priorities and workflows.Time Management: Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMRemote Work: Up to 2 days per week after the first 3 months #J-18808-Ljbffr
