Come join us. The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Compliance Office by contributing to the effective delivery of Gore Mutual’s enterprise-wide Regulatory Compliance Program. This position ensures alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, helping to safeguard the organization’s integrity and operational excellence. What will you do? Regulatory Readiness and Cross-Functional Support Regulatory requirements identificationRegulatory watch maintenance in OnspringEmerging regulation monitoringNew and emerging regulation reportingInitial preparation of regulatory readiness assessment documentationCompliance research and analysisGeneral Compliance office supportSpecial projects support Program Delivery Support and Response Intake management of Conflict of Interest reportsInitial COI response supportCOI investigation with business supportCOI tracking and reportingIntake and management of Gifts and Entertainment reportsInitial G&E response supportG&E tracking and reportingCompliance incident intake and response supportIncident mitigation, monitoring and trackingCompliance office mailbox support Regulatory Filings and Records Management Regulatory filings (RRS and other)KRI/KPI reporting supportOnspring maintenance What will you need? 5 years of experience in compliance or related fields (e.g., legal, audit, risk)Insurance industry experience, preferably in property and casualtyStrong knowledge of federal and provincial regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with distribution licensing bodies and their requirementsExperience with compliance management technology platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and proactivelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailConfidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholdersCommunity college diploma, CIP, CRM or equivalent designation considered an asset Hybrid Working Location Hybrid (onsite and remote) – on a flexible schedule that supports collaboration and remote work.
