Sales Associate – The Wine Shop Location: St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada We are looking for a new extraordinary teammate to join our team at The Wine Shop. Our focus is on delivering a superior shopping experience to our customers and providing expert wine guidance. Seniority Level: Entry Level Employment Type: Full‑time Job Function: Sales and Business Development; Industries: Food & Beverage Responsibilities Ensuring total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service is provided to every customer. Assist customers with their purchases and provide them with product information when required. Perform the physical demands of the role, lifting, carrying, and stacking wine cases weighing 40‑50 lbs and дау delivering 55‑110 cases on a weekly basis, using proper lifting techniques. Run reports and input data into Excel spreadsheets. Monitor daily Outlook email communications Leider remaining current on the operation needs and sales directives. Merchandise new campaigns, keeping shelves and display units clean. Handle cash and accurately balance the till. Comply with health and safety rules and security within the workplace. Qualifications Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move wine cases (40‑50lbs) on a regular basis. Able to stand for long periods of time and handle repetitive tasks. Experience working with computer‑based point of sale systems. Smart Serve Certification. Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to work in more than one location.
