We strive to maintain an equitable, inclusive, and growth‑focused environment for our people.Job SummaryThe Community Specialist is responsible for executing the store’s community strategy, engaging with the community through relationship building, events, and other activities, and supporting lululemon product seeding and attending local studios. They develop and sustain local key relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other relevant community partners, providing synergistic value. The Community Specialist also delivers a world‑class guest experience on the sales floor, bringing a community perspective to guest connections.Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with store leadership to bring Community strategy to life through the pillars of community foundations and guest experience.Establish and manage local key relationships (e.g., Ambassadors, Sweat Collective, studio owners, lululemon Studio partner studios) to increase new guest acquisition and guest retention.Engage with the local community to identify future Ambassador or partner opportunities and to position the store as a community hub.Connect with guests on the floor to assess needs, provide technical product education, and integrate omnichannel programs into a seamless end-to-end guest experience.Attend, support, and/or host local and regional Community events.Execute the product seeding strategy through community partners and Ambassadors.Review community‑relevant data and metrics to identify insights and recommendations for store leadership regarding events, projects, or initiatives.Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences to ensure a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.Job RequirementsEligibilityMust be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located.Must be able to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.Schedule/AvailabilityWork schedule can vary based on store needs.Shifts typically include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.During peak times or events, schedules may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some employees.Experience1 year of cumulative experience in customer service or engagement, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community building.Assets (Nice to Have)Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or higher.Experience in building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners; motivating team members to accomplish goals.What We Look ForInclusion & Diversity: Creates/supports an inclusive environment that values differences.Integrity: Honest, fair, and ethical.Connection and Partnership: Builds professional relationships with team members and guests; develops partnerships across the company and community.Planning and Organizing: Plans and organizes work effectively to align with priorities.Collaboration and Teamwork: Works productively with others to achieve goals; seeks diverse perspectives.Learner Mindset: Curious, open to feedback, and pursuing continuous skill growth.Self‑Leadership: Takes responsibility and inspires others to buy in and support initiatives.Interactive Communication: Conveys information clearly and understands others during interactions.Work ContextWork may occur in various locations and environments, including moving through the store with bright lights and loud music, and at community locations.Builds relationships, strengthens partnerships, and participates in fitness/movement events.Typically part of a team, sometimes independent, and may involve using a computer or other devices.Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay Range: $24.25 - $27.90/hour, subject to local minimum wageTarget Bonus: $2.00/hourTotal Target Base Pay Range: $26.25 - $29.90/hourlululemon’s pay philosophy is pay-for-performance, with base pay aligned to market location and subject to knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
