Senior Product Manager, Business Deposits, Data & Automation Join RBC to apply for the Senior Product Manager, Business Deposits, Data & Automation role. RBC is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager reporting into the Business Liquidity & Deposit Solutions team. This Product Management leader role focuses on data analytics and automation, ideally with full‑stack development experience, supporting portfolio insights for Business deposits. What is the opportunity? The role requires advanced analytics expertise to deliver relevant insights, storytelling, and cross‑collaborative initiatives to drive market share volume growth and net interest income growth. What will you do? Manage analytics infrastructure, particularly the Flow of Funds tool, monitoring performance across deposit volume and revenue segments, sectors, and regions. Build a user‑friendly front‑end and back‑end to process data, calculate outcomes, and support strategy, product, and sales teams. Aggregate data from multiple sources, clean and apply business rules, and store in an in‑house database for quick retrieval and analytics. Deliver accurate and timely analytics to support short‑term and long‑term market share objectives, including monthly and quarterly business review deliverables. Lead data analytics initiatives, identify insights opportunities, and partner with BDTS SMT and Enterprise Analytics to optimize portfolio and revenue growth. Provide insights, analytics, and help develop tactical strategy. Automate manual and semi‑automated solutions to reduce time and effort for data management (ETL) and analytics. Present actionable insights to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. Communicate and align strategic and analytical objectives with senior leaders. Own, automate, and standardize deposits portfolio analyses with partners from Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Data, and Technology teams. Build and maintain complex reports and dashboards that influence pricing decisions and customer conversations. Promote analytics across the broader team to help RBC become a data‑driven organization. Must‑have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases. Strong proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation tasks. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/Seaborn. Experience in report automation techniques to streamline reporting processes effectively. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automating data tasks. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across functions. Strong understanding of both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Expertise in designing and developing interactive calculators and applications using Python and GUI frameworks such as Tkinter, PyQt, or wxPython. Experience in building custom applications or using low‑code platforms (e.g., Zoho Creator, Microsoft Power Apps) tailored to specific calculation needs. Experience working in Banking or Financial Services Industry. Nice‑to‑have Experience in Advanced Analytics or Finance. Experience in Business Banking.
