Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. About The Role We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our growing team in Sault Ste. Marie What You’ll Do Here Service on‑going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewalsSell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of businessQuote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walk‑in clientsContact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policyPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewalsKeep current on underwriting rules and workflow processesActively participate in training initiativesParticipate in community marketing initiatives What You Bring To The Table High School and or Post‑Secondary EducationPrevious Insurance experience preferred but not required.RIBO License preferredExposure to Epic is an assetStrong customer focusDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
