This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and motivated individual eager to learn and contribute in a dynamic setting.## **Responsibilities:*** Assist in the preparation and coordination of planning application submissions, including collecting signatures and processing documents.* Monitor municipal notices, planning updates, and council agendas relevant to Choice Properties’ portfolio.* Support in tracking development approvals, permits, and regulatory updates.* Perform zoning checks and gather land development statistics.* Support the preparation of RFPs and coordinate consultant contracts.* Assist with internal and external project reporting, including tracking milestones, approvals, and key deliverables* Aid in pushing corporate sustainability objectives through project pipeline.* Support tracking of development budgets, consultant invoices, and soft costs* Perform various administrative duties as required.## **Qualifications:*** Undergraduate degree in Planning, Engineering, Architecture or related field (completed or near completion).* Familiarity with typical planning approvals process.* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proven ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with other departments and with people at various levels of the organization.* Works well in a cross functional team environment and has a positive outlook and attitude.* Good time management and organizational skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, Project, OneNote).* Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present.* Strong business acumen considered highly important.## **About Choice Properties:**Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust is an owner, manager and developer of well-located retail and commercial real estate across Canada.
