In this pivotal role, collaborate with Telesat's Global Sales and Business Development teams to develop solutions that meet complex operational requirements for defence customers. This isn't a traditional engineering role; you will engage with military leaders and shape the future of strategic satellite capabilities. Your technical insights will be key in navigating sophisticated systems and competitive landscapes.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the technical authority on Lightspeed for defence customers • Create, evaluate, and respond to RFI and RFP documents • Develop foundational designs and supporting documentation • Capture customer needs into actionable architectures • Align strategic product opportunities with market requirements
Requirements: • 10+ years in solution or systems engineering • Strong grasp of satellite and RF communications • Experience with complex defence solution design • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards in government • Must be eligible for clearance in Canada
