We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well‑being programs to support you and your family.To learn more visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirect multi‑disciplinary project teams;Provide senior technical input for delivery of water resources projects to public, mining, industrial, private, and First Nations clients;Perform and oversee detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies, assessments, modelling, preliminary and detail design, cost estimates, specifications and input to contract documents;Develop innovative green infrastructure solutions for the urban environment;Develop site‑wide and tailings storage facility, life‑of‑asset water balance models for mining clients;Apply innovative hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, from 1‑D to 3‑D flow and transport models;Lead floodplain and flood hazard mapping studies;Develop flood protection designs;In‑stream and urban stormwater water quality monitoring and modelling;Develop and execute field investigation programs and construction support services;Prepare erosion and sediment control designs;Interact with client representatives;Task and project‑level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;Support lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring;Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.Education and LicensureBachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a closely related discipline. (required)Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a closely related discipline. (preferred)Professional engineering registration (P.Eng.) within provincial guidelines. (required)Skills, Experience and QualificationsAt least 7 years (8+ preferred) of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)Experience with modeling and design software tools such as EPA‑SWMM, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. (preferred)Valid Canadian driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
