This role supports execution of Couche-Tard strategies and ensures human resource management aligns with corporate policies, employee relations and development, guidelines, and Couche-Tard values.The RoleWe’re looking for a talented, highly collaborative leader with a service-oriented mindset to join our Global HR team as HR Director. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, including Corporate Finance and Legal leadership, and will play a critical role in the implementation of global, regional, and local HR initiatives.What You’ll DoAs HR Director, you hold end-to-end responsibility for HR support to leaders and employees within Global Functions, in close partnership with executive leadership. Your responsibilities include:Strategic HR PartnershipPartner with leaders to define and execute HR priorities aligned with business strategy, culture, and valuesAdvise senior and executive leadership on global HR matters, including workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and talent developmentProactively surface people-related risks and opportunities, providing clear recommendationsEmployee Relations & HR OperationsLead HR management for all Global Canadian employeesSupport managers and employees in resolving complex HR issuesProvide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies, programs, and guidelinesEnsure effective communication and delivery of HR programs and servicesGlobal Collaboration & ChangeCollaborate with HR leaders and Centers of Expertise to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery globallySupport and lead change management initiatives, including organizational changes and transformation projectsAdvise leaders on HR implications, risks, and opportunities related to changeContribute to innovative HR solutions aligned with corporate policies and valuesCulture, Leadership & TalentFoster an engaging, inclusive work environment focused on strengths-based leadership and continuous feedbackCoach and develop managers to lead in alignment with Couche-Tard valuesSupport employer branding and recruitment initiatives, including hiring top talentWhat You’ll NeedEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience will be consideredExperience: Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant HR experience, including experience in a shared services environmentKnowledge and SkillsPrior experience with labor relations and HR systems (e.g., Workday) preferredConfident HR leader with strong internal HR partnering, consulting, and advisory experienceDemonstrated ability to assess organizational needs, manage risk, and act with sound judgmentStrong experience handling employee relations, grievance matters, and complex personnel issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and engage audiences at all levels, including executivesService-oriented mindset with a proactive, “can-do” attitudeStrong ability to build, coordinate, and lead effective teamsComfort working in a technology-driven environment and high efficiency with Microsoft Office toolsProfessional maturity with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-changing environmentComfortable operating within a large, complex organizationLanguage skillsBilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written; collaboration with global teams is essential.Why You Should Work HereAt Couche-Tard/Circle K, we believe our team members are the heart of our business.
