We are hiring a heavy-duty mechanic to join our team in our Williams Lake shop. What we offer: Will accommodate a work/life balance Long term employment for qualified individuals Position is in Williams Lake, local candidates or those willing to relocate Health benefits following 3 months of continued employment This posting requires experience repairing heavy duty equipment: Overhauling, servicing, troubleshooting, adjusting, maintaining, etc. In this role, you will: Participate in and adhere to health & safety programs/policies/procedures Perform duties that range from the routine to the major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics. Disassemble and reassemble components: Engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel & exhaust systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical, lubrication systems, etc. Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions and best practices Requirements: Valid driver’s license Ability to work independently and as part of our team Strong interpersonal skills Basic hand tools up to ¾” drive Red Seal Journeypersons or Heavy-duty tech certification would be a benefit Location: Williams Lake, British Columbia Applications are only accepted through the job posting.
