Our Quesnel Plywood division is recruiting for a Millwright.You'll DoWork in a safe manner using established SOPs, following all lockouts and protocols, and completing PTHAs.Preventative maintenance and repair of conveyors, various belt and chain transfer and drive systems, sawing, debarking, sorting, stacking, and compressors.Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery.Work in man-lifts with the use of fall protection equipment.Repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves and cylinders.Work positively in a team environment.You HaveCommitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace.Sawmill experience is an asset.A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright certification or a Millwrighting Apprentice preparing to enroll in their 4thMechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work closely with other trades and employees.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Flexible schedule for workdays, nights, and weekend shifts.Compensation PackageThe hourly pay range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.Your Workplace Location:Quesnel is a family-friendly community of 25,000 in central British Columbia.
