Project Coordinator Client: Big 5 Bank Location: Hybrid Downtown Toronto, Ontario Terms: 6‑month contract, strong possibility of conversion Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Application Process: Apply via the medium you are viewing this on. Overview This PCO position requires strong communication and customer service skills, excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a busy environment. The role serves as a resource to support project deliverables, including hosting/facilitation of meetings, managing small work packages or change requests, assisting with documentation, communicating with senior managers and line management, and performing confidential administrative support functions. Required Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Self‑motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with customers, associates and business partners Work effectively independently and as a team player Work well under pressure Excellent time‑management and ability to multitask Research issues using multiple bank systems Organizational and problem‑solving skills Prioritize multiple tasks, balancing quality and productivity Availability to work a flexible schedule assignment Desired Skills 3–5 years of related experience as a PCO Strong business acumen and understanding of preferred consumer banking and investments Track record of building strong partnerships and influencing management and executives without direct authority Comfortable presenting governance and status meetings to leadership Capturing meeting minutes Participating in meetings to determine progress and identify follow‑up needs Tracking project updates and sharing status slides Financial experience Proficiency with bank systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, WebEx Compiling reports concerning progress and downtime to distribute to personnel involved in project Ensuring project control procedures and policies within projects are executed and functioning according to technology’s project performance standards Soft Skills Written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Organizational skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent activities under pressure Analytical thinker with ability to solve problems Deals with ambiguity and requests for change Quick and continuous learner with proactive attitude Genuine interest in the role EEO Employer Equal Opportunity Statement Apex Systems is an equal‑opportunity employer.
