Grande Prairie OSB is currently recruiting for a “Certified Millwright”.Reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead, the Certified Millwright is a key member of our Maintenance Team – ensuring the safe & reliable repair of process equipment and effective preventative maintenance practices.You'll Do:Demonstrate 100% commitment towards completing all tasks safelyTrouble shoot and problem solve items impacting process equipmentActive involvement with predictive and preventative maintenanceEffectively complete safety and mechanical inspectionsExecute safe lifts using hoisting, rigging, proper slings & shacklesProvide insight with root cause analysis of mechanical failureParticipate in effective housekeeping of clean & organized work areasYou have:Red Seal Millwright certificationMinimum of five (5) years of millwright experience in an industrial environment; preference given to those with forest product experienceAbility to carry out light fabrication and welding tasks will be considered an assetRelentless commitment to safe work practicesStrong planning and organizational skillsAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environmentEffective communication and computer skillsYour Workplace Location:Located in the heart of northern Alberta, Grande Prairie offers our team a coveted locale amidst the region's serene beauty.
