Overview The Procurement Administrator reports to the Procurement Manager and provides complex administrative support across procurement systems. The role supports Buyers, Order Administrators, Expeditors, Procurement Engineering, and Management while safeguarding sensitive financial information and performing duties tailored to project and service needs. Responsibilities Clerical duties related to procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, distribution, and filing. Support to procurement management and quality management on reporting and general duties. Process non‑disclosure agreements. Custodian of proposal submission inbox. Material control administration supporting procurement engineering. Register supplier documentation in the document management system. Support logistics activities. Handle invoicing and accounts payable activities interfacing with finance and shared services. Create and issue small dollar, best‑commercial goods purchase orders, including punch‑out and PCARD orders. Qualifications Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience or transferable skills. Administrative experience in a busy office environment. Experience with administrative duties in a procurement environment is an asset. Proficiency in database entry, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, project environment and support multiple customers, including repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently and maintain the influx of procurement requests while meeting project timelines and deadlines. Professional team player with collaborative skills. Exceptional time‑management skills. Capacity to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing requirements. Ability to take direction from management and key stakeholders. Hybrid work environment.
