About This Team This role is part of the Technology leadership team accountable for GEC Technology tracks delivering personal shopper program, digital educator foundations program and program support for GEC Commerce and Transactions team. The engineering product team focuses on creating digital solutions that enable seamless conversations with guests for our contact center educators, driving long‑term brand loyalty, providing white‑glove service experience, enabling curated personalized shopping experiences and driving incremental revenue for the organization. A Day In The Life As Technology Manager, you are a leader responsible for the GEC Technology team with accountability for software development scoped to business‑transformative projects, being involved in programs from inception through implementation. You are comfortable leading and managing team members with different skill sets and can communicate expectations clearly to all team members. In addition to strong management skills, you act as a leader for the technical roadmap for your team and can communicate timeline, scope and risks to partners and stakeholders, and lead the delivery of major initiatives. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade‑offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. Maturity, curiosity, creative problem‑solving, and team leadership are essential for success. You also bring your experience, ideas, and initiatives to influence and drive change to support our growth and scaling. Key Responsibilities For This Role Include Leading a team of Engineers, Analysts, Tech Program Managers, business stakeholders and software vendors across multiple work streams simultaneously. Managing people, processes and timeline to ensure that high‑quality deliverables are produced. Ensuring the right skills are being used to solve the right problems by supporting the team with empathetic coaching, skills development, and career path leadership. Ensuring team produces software that meets business and technology requirements which is resilient, monitorable, performant and maintainable. Leading resolution of production support incidents in accordance with incident management policies and procedures and ensuring that application changes follow change management policies and procedures. Staying abreast of latest technology and industry trends. Championing and enforcing software development and operational support processes. Driving alignment by building effective partnership with stakeholders across global markets. Being a role model and leading awareness and training for your team in our IDEA program – Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or another related field. 8–10 years of experience in information technology with direct working experience leading complex, global technology initiatives. 4+ years of experience leading and developing cloud‑based engineering delivery teams. Proven experience in leading full‑stack teams building website/app‑based solutions. Strong understanding of guest‑facing technology solutions, e‑commerce platforms, CRM systems, and integration technologies. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across teams. Demonstrated ability to function in a fast‑paced environment with constantly changing priorities. The typical hiring range for this position is from $131,100 – $172,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
