Title: HR Business Partner (8 month contract) OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Managing Director, People, this is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring individual to work in a dynamic media agency environment and actively participate in various talent-driven facets, spanning the entire employee lifecycle. Your Impact: You will leverage your human resources expertise to foster a diverse and inclusive environment of engaged and purpose-driven employees. Partnering with the broader HR team and leadership teams, your value-add advisory and support will be integral in driving our strategic and operational priorities. Key Accountabilities
  1. As a trusted advisor to leadership teams and managers; understand business and talent needs to identify solutions to achieve objectives.
  2. Collaborate on workforce planning and drive talent management strategies.
  3. Analyze HR trends and workforce data to help inform decisions.
  4. Guide people managers on talent-related matters, including performance management and employee relation issues.
  5. Facilitate talent-related meetings including performance calibration sessions for fairness, consistency, and alignment.
  6. Provide guidance and support to internal client groups on the implementation and management of HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
  7. Partner with Employee Relations with investigations and take any necessary action, including employee terminations.
  8. Assess and provide salary recommendations for new hires and promotions.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  10. Act as a culture champion and role-model GroupM behaviors and values.
  11. Partner with leadership teams to implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement.
  12. Provide coaching to junior team members, focused on their development and growth.
  13. Plan and execute HR projects and initiatives that support GroupM objectives.
  14. Stay informed about industry best practices and employment legislation.
What You Bring:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role, preferably within the media or creative industry.
  2. Completion of HR program or equivalent related experience.
  3. Experience in planning, executing, and maintaining HR projects, processes, and/or initiatives.
  4. Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and fast-paced environment.
  5. Thorough understanding and application of HR practices and employment laws.
  6. Ability to analyze complex HR issues and apply critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  7. Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  9. Demonstrated sound judgment when assessing a variety of situations.
  10. Excellent organizational, time management, and project planning skills.
  11. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; ability to learn and adapt to new software & systems.
