Southwestern Ontario, Canada Pontosense Full time

Join to apply for the Junior Product Manager role at Pontosense Help shape how privacy-first technology protects people in the moments that matter most. At Pontosense, we transform everyday spaces into intelligent, supportive environments, using contactless sensing to understand what’s happening around us without intrusion. Our technology is designed to safeguard independence, preserve dignity, and give families and care providers confidence that the people they love are safe. Behind every meaningful product experience is intention: built through insight, empathy, and a deep understanding of real human needs. That’s where you come in. As a Junior Product Manager, you’ll help shape the products and features that define how people interact with our technology. You’ll translate user problems into thoughtful solutions, uncover insights through research and testing, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring new ideas from concept to reality. This role is hands‑on and collaborative. You’ll work across design, engineering, customer teams, and operations to define clear requirements, validate ideas, support launches, and ensure our products deliver real impact in people’s lives. As Pontosense continues to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to influence our product direction, strengthen our processes, and build solutions that help people live safely, confidently, and independently, every day. What you’ll do: Lead user and market research by speaking with real people, running usability tests, and uncovering insights that shape how our products evolve Translate research and ideas into clear, thoughtful Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that guide feature development for home care agencies, families, and wellness applications Explore the competitive landscape: testing products, reviewing industry trends, and surfacing insights that influence product direction Create high‑quality product communications, including release notes, internal updates, documentation, and knowledge‑base materials that keep teams and partners aligned Work closely with engineering, design, QA, sales, and support to deliver features smoothly, ensure launches are coordinated, and maintain a cohesive product experience Support day‑to‑day product operations, including feature validation, QA coordination, and continuous improvement of internal workflows and processes Propose new features and enhancements informed by user feedback, technical feasibility, and meaningful business impact Who you’ll work with: This role reports directly to our Senior Product Manager, Guillaume, and works closely with teams across the organization. You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, QA, sales, and support to bring new features to life and ensure smooth product delivery. You’ll do well if you: Have a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), with 1‑2 years of work experience in engineering, design, product management, business analysis, or other product‑centric roles. Think independently, challenge assumptions, and approach problems with curiosity and creativity. Are detail‑oriented, with a strong focus on documentation quality and user interface clarity. Are passionate about the intersection of business and engineering and want to build impactful products that solve real‑world challenges. Are highly organized and detail‑driven, confidently managing multiple priorities with high‑quality results. Communicate effectively, building strong relationships with Design, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams. It’s not you, it’s us – you won’t fit in if you: Struggle with ambiguity or dislike adapting to change in a fast‑paced environment. Are content with the status quo and lack a passion for innovation or continuous improvement. Find it challenging to balance structure with flexibility in solving problems. We believe everyone is capable. Finding the right fit between the company, the role, and the culture is key to your happiness and success. Why Join Pontosense Be part of a mission‑driven company reshaping the future of wellness technology. Work with a global team of innovators passionate about improving lives through intelligent sensing. Play a key role in defining customer experience and strengthening our partnerships worldwide.
