Senior Cost Consultant – Job DescriptionAs a Senior Cost Consultant, you will be involved in:Managing a budget of one or many Packages on a major rehabilitation programPost-contract cost management including forecasting, change management, cost reconciliations, cost reportingUndertaking Value managementTaking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultantsMentoring and coaching junior staffSupport research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published dataQualifications10+ years of experience in cost managementA recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subjectMembership of Relevant Professional Organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS); The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain itKnowledge of and experience using CostX is an assetAdditional Information100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services)Health spending account, to top up expenses not covered in the benefits programRRSP option with company matchingAnnual learning and development budgetAccess to a range of online learning tools, and support for career development and growthCoverage of one professional membership or license fee per year, if directly related to your roleWork-life balance with vacation, flex and sick daysA flexible, hybrid work approach that supports balance between professional and personal lifeCommitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belongingThe base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
