Waldorf Academy is seeking a full-time elementary school teacher for First Grade in the 2026‑27 school year. Ideally, candidates will hold Waldorf teaching qualification and experience, and/or Ontario College of Teachers credentials, or equivalent international qualification. We are seeking a teacher who: Understands and practices Waldorf pedagogy with imagination and integrity Teaches with artistry, curiosity, and reverence for the unfolding of each child Values collaboration, reflection, and professional growth within a dedicated faculty Is a steady presence in the classroom, managing with care and kindness Has strong parent and community communication practices. Waldorf Academy is an Associate Member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Waldorf Academy is a well‑established independent school in midtown Toronto, offering education from early childhood through Grade Eight. Our school is committed to cultivating curiosity, creativity, and compassion through a living curriculum that approaches learning through the head, heart, and hands of each child.
