Responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of drawings to meet project deadlines.Duties are responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Project Scheduling:Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule for shop drawings;Coordinate with Project Managers to understand project requirements and timelines;Prioritize projects based on urgency and complexity to allocate resources effectivelyDrafter Management and Support:Lead and supervise a team of drafters, providing guidance, support and mentoring;Assist drafters in resolving technical issues and challenges during the drawing process;Ensure that the drafters adhere to company standards and quality guidelines;Shop Drawing Completion:Review and approve shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications;Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts;Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of shop drawings;Reporting and CommunicationRequest weekly reports from drafters to track project status and identify potential issues.
