We are looking for you OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting high-rise residentialand commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team as a key member on the tools, both mentoringapprentices and assisting foremen, in order to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.ResponsibilitiesAs a Journeyperson you will be responsible for:Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specificationsConnecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipmentTerminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devicesObserving functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacementTesting continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safetyEducational And Professional RequirementsJourneyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)Experience working on high rise and/or commercial new construction projectsGood knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirementsExcellent communication and time management skillsWORKING CONDITIONSWorking both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsTypical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlinesLocal work in the lower mainlandBenefits provided by CIBPOZZ Electric BC is committed to excellence in every way – in our work ethic, in the services we provide, and in the relationships we share with our clients, employees, and communities.
