The Property & Casualty (P&C) Pricing team is an industry leader in actuarial science, and we are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Farm and individually‑rated commercial auto (IRCA) book of business. You will support profitable growth solutions, partner with the broader organization, and help achieve corporate financial targets. How You Will Create Impact Coach, develop, recruit, and manage a high‑performing team, fostering an agile culture that delivers on strategic objectives. Participate in the creation of project roadmaps, defining benefits, budgeting, and resource management for line‑of‑business projects. Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of pricing and non‑pricing models that meet high quality standards and accurately forecast future results. Apply actuarial tools and techniques—rating plan development, operational research, rate levels—to deliver profitable growth solutions. Participate in best‑practice development for pricing models and ensure application of model governance principles within the team. Identify adverse downstream impacts of proposed changes and recommend strategies to mitigate them, while seeking efficiencies to reduce time‑to‑market for new initiatives. How You Will Succeed Build trusting relationships and provide constructive feedback to develop your team and colleagues. Foster innovation and continuous improvement, focusing on client experience. Facilitate change adoption and create a high‑performance culture aligned with organizational goals. Communicate clearly and remain open to alternative viewpoints. Apply critical thinking and strategic mindset to adjust business plans based on shifting priorities. To Join Our Team 5+ years of actuarial experience. 3+ years of progressive leadership experience. University degree in Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. Experience in the insurance industry. Expert knowledge of pricing segmentation, loss ratios, expense allocation, earned premiums, and P&C underwriting. Understanding of business operations, strategies, and processes. Understanding of internal and industry standards, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape. Comprehensive understanding of the business dynamics of your own department. Actuarial designation (ACAS/ACIA, FCAS/FCIA) is an asset. Experience with auto regulation is an asset. Proficiency in English; the role primarily works with non‑Francophone groups outside Québec.
