You will coordinate and schedule construction and facilities projects at key client sites in the Orillia area, ensuring multiple projects are delivered concurrently without conflict. Key Duties & Responsibilities Project & Construction Coordination: Coordinate site-based projects; ensure no conflict or overlapping workstreams; maintain schedules and communicate sequencing; track and communicate changes or delays. Issue & Risk Management: Point of contact for identifying and resolving construction or service-related issues; troubleshoot building systems; coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors. Technical Oversight: Engage effectively with contractors; apply mechanical and electrical systems knowledge to assess challenges; support planning with minimal disruption; monitor compliance with quality and operational standards. Facilities Management Support: Liaise with operations teams; provide input on operational risk during construction; mitigate risks. Client / Stakeholder Engagement: Represent site-based coordination; interface with BGIS teams, vendors, consultants, and client reps; communicate schedules, risks, and progress; manage client expectations and satisfaction. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain master project plan; update project documentation, issue logs, and schedules; support client reporting and performance reviews. Knowledge & Skills 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or construction project coordination. Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem‑solving abilities. Practical knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Office Project, Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with other scheduling tools is an asset. Licenses & Professional Accreditation Project Management Institute accreditation or in progress. BGIS is an equal‑opportunity employer.
