We provide operations, finance, tech, and strategic support to physician-owned practices—helping them grow sustainably and with soul. This is in addition to support for physicians transitioning ownership to the employees of the business. We believe in clear communication, practical systems, thoughtful design, and long-term thinking. Our tone is warm, grounded, and confident—but never corporate or clinical.This Role Is Not for You IfYou think design is just about making things look pretty instead of shaping how people work and feelYou prefer working alone over collaborating with engineers, product managers, and end-usersYou get frustrated by feedback loops and iterationYou’re uncomfortable designing for complex, regulated spaces like healthcareYou’d rather focus only on visuals than understand workflows, usability, and product strategyWhat You’ll DoLead end-to-end design for core parts of Meroka’s platform, from discovery through deliveryTranslate complex healthcare workflows into clear, intuitive, and delightful user experiencesCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma (or your tool of choice)Partner with frontend engineers to ensure design intent is carried through to productionEstablish and evolve our design system for consistency, accessibility, and scaleConduct lightweight user research and usability testing with physicians and practice staffAdvocate for simplicity and usability in every product decisionWe’re Looking For Someone Who…Has experience designing digital products (SaaS, healthcare, or B2B a plus)Is fluent in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and prototyping workflowsUnderstands how to balance user needs with business requirements and technical constraintsBrings strong UX fundamentals: hierarchy, accessibility, interaction patterns, responsive designCommunicates ideas clearly through visuals, prototypes, and storytellingLoves working closely with engineers and PMs to ship high-quality featuresThrives in a fast-moving environment with high ownership and responsibilityWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and health benefitsUnlimited vacation and flexible working arrangementsThe chance to design the platform that restores humanity in healthcare for independent physicians and their teamsOwnership of design decisions across key product areasA thoughtful, ambitious team that values creativity, clarity, and long-term thinkingAdditional NotesThis role will require occasional travel to the USA and Canada for on-site campaigns, team collaboration, and brand activations.
