In this role, you will provide exceptional sales support to customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions at our Profit Centre. Your primary goal will be to offer outstanding customer service, generate sales leads, and close sales, helping to drive profitability and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will support the Outside Sales function as part of a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:Answer telephone calls, emails and in person questions from customers and identify their needsResearch product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of productEnter sales orders generated from Profit Centre customers via phone, emails, and textsGrow and retain established customer base and develop new business for the Profit CentreFollow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers accurate lead timesSend and follow-up with request for quotes to vendorsProcess returns and warranty claims to customers both on account and cash sales including paperwork in compliance with all proceduresSupport Outside Sales activities as part of the teamResolve issues related to customer orders in accordance with our policies and procedures (SPIs)Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre ManagerQualificationsGrade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an assetA minimum of 1 year of experience with customer service or counter salesProficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to communicate via email, analyze customer data and update customer contact filesOutstanding customer service and verbal communication skillsExcellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammatesAbility to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions and close the saleAbility to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process ordersAble to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasksAble to learn how to operate material handling equipmentPreferred Skills:Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold at the Profit CentreExperience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or Infor M3Don't flush this opportunity down the drain, turn your pipe dreams into reality by joining Emco SteinbachAdditional InformationEMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
