We hire “A” Players—people who are self-motivated, resourceful, and thrive when given responsibility.Role OverviewReporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Site Superintendent is responsible for executing the concrete scope of assigned projects safely, on time, and within budget. This includes supervising employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day site activities and supervise workers, sub-contractors, and site visitorsManage project schedules and resources to ensure milestones are metCoordinate construction activities with prime contractors and trade partnersProvide leadership and development for Pagnotta employees, including performance reviews and trainingEnforce company and legislative safety policies and proceduresConduct inspections, quality control, and ensure compliance with drawings and specificationsMaintain accurate project documentation (RFIs, as-builts, site reports, etc.)Support hiring efforts by interviewing potential new site employeesOversee the use and maintenance of company equipment and toolsQualificationsRed Seal trade certification (carpentry preferred)Gold Seal Certification (asset)10+ years of on-site construction experience, specializing in formwork concrete for commercial, high-rise, mixed-use, or institutional projects3+ years of leadership experience as a superintendent or foremanStrong knowledge of OH&S regulations and employment standards legislationProficient in reading structural, architectural, civil, and mechanical drawingsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsWorking ConditionsStandard 40 hours/week, with overtime and weekend work as requiredStart time: 7:00 AMWork at heights will be requiredPagnotta Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
