Procurement expertise meets remote work at Canopy Growth in Ontario, supporting supplier management, cost analysis, and contract manufacturing activities.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnership & Wholesale Operations, this full-time Procurement Specialist supports sourcing and supplier relationships. The position analyzes purchasing data, pricing, lead times, and spend trends while coordinating with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams. It also supports bulk flower procurement across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure raw materials, API components, and bulk flower products
- Analyze supplier pricing, lead times, MOQs, and spend trends
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, pricing, and supplier commitments
- Track CMO production plans, capacity, costs, and delivery performance
- Prepare forecasts, KPI analyses, cost models, and reports
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in procurement, business, or supply chain
- Three to five years of procurement experience
- Experience managing supplier onboarding, performance, and issue resolution
- Strong analytical skills and supplier negotiation support experience
- ERP proficiency and Microsoft Excel skills
Support Canopy Growth procurement decisions through supplier management, CMO coordination, spend analysis, and accurate forecasting remotely.
