On-Call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Calgary AB Location: Calgary, AB Employment Type: On-Call | Contract (3 months, with extension option) Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for on‑call coverage in Long‑Term Care (LTC) facilities across Calgary. This role is ideal for dependable LPNs who are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, facility‑based care environment and can pick up day, evening, and night shifts as needed. Candidates must have hands‑on experience in Canada for a minimum of 2 years. Candidate Eligibility Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience working as an LPN Valid Canadian work permit or Canadian citizenship Able to work on‑call across varied shifts (days, evenings, nights) Required Documentation Active LPN Registration Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta First Aid Certification Valid and current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Valid and current Note: Contractors must hold both First Aid and BLS Vulnerable Sector Check Issued within the last 2 years Criminal Background Check Issued within the last 2 years Immunization Records Tuberculosis (TB) Influenza (Flu Shot) Candidates who decline the flu shot must agree to Tamiflu treatment in the event of a flu outbreak at the facility Contract Details Contract Length: 3 months, with the option to extend Contractors may request removal from the contract at any time Shift Availability On‑call coverage Day, Evening, and Night shifts Compensation $33/hour – T4 employment $38/hour – Incorporated or Sole Proprietor contractor Interested?
