Position OverviewWorking as a member of the inter-professional team, the Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing assessment, consultation and education to the patient, family members and the interprofessional team within a variety of program areas including but not limited to critical care, respirology, medicine, stroke, surgery & the emergency department. The Physiotherapist provides care to patients of the hospital and its affiliates. The successful candidate will participate in program development and evaluation as well as actively participating in regular team meetings, liaising with community-based providers, advocating on behalf of clients and their families and participation in inter-professional patient and family conferences as needed.Primary assignment for this position will be in medicine and surgery.
