Bilingual Compliance Officer (French required)This is a hybrid role. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your compliance career within a supportive and collaborative environment, with a chance to contribute to a dynamic investment management firm serving clients across Canada.What You’ll DoYou will play a central role in ensuring regulatory compliance, improving internal processes, and supporting business development initiatives, especially in Quebec. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Canada and gain exposure to a wide array of compliance functions in both French and English.ResponsibilitiesReview and approve new account openings and updates to Know Your Client (KYC) informationSupervise trading activities through the Latent Zero Sentinel systemPrepare compliance reports for funds and clientsOversee policies and procedures related to securities regulation, AML, and FATCA/CRSMonitor adherence to client investment policy statements and escalate any issuesMaintain and enhance automated compliance monitoring systemsAssist in regulatory filings and internal documentationDraft written procedures and develop preventative controlsSupport business development initiatives and collaborate on special projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field2 to 5 years of compliance experience in a portfolio management, investment, or securities settingStrong understanding of Canadian securities regulationsCompleted or in-progress certifications such as CSC or CPH; CFA enrollment is a plusHands-on experience with compliance systems, AML programs, and regulatory databases (e.g., NRD)Bilingual fluency in French and English is essentialStrong communication, ethics, organization, and attention to detailProficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with Bloomberg, Advent, and Salesforce is preferredCompetitive compensation aligned with your skills and experienceOpportunity for equity ownership in an employee-owned firmFinancial support for industry certifications and exam preparationDirect collaboration with senior leadership on high-impact projectsExposure to a full range of compliance responsibilitiesHybrid work options available from Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver (EST time zone)Why Work with UsThis is your chance to grow your career in a firm that values entrepreneurial thinking and continuous learning.
