Overview Occupational therapist working as a member of a multidisciplinary team at a school for neuro diverse students. Responsibilities include assessment, direct therapy (individual and group), and consultation with school-based team, parents, and other professionals. Demonstrates the application of activities specifically related to performance in the areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure. Evaluation and selection/adaptation to address adaptive, postural, self-care, sensory and fine motor skills. Responsibilities Assess students and provide direct therapy (individual and group) Consult with school-based team, parents, and other professionals Apply activities related to self-care, productivity, and leisure; evaluate and adapt to address adaptive, postural, self-care, sensory and fine motor skills Work as part of a multidisciplinary team Caseload information: students aged 5–20; diagnoses may include autism, Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome, learning disability, cognitive disability Qualifications Masters degree in Occupational Therapy Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia Job Specifics Days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar (September–June) School days run 8:30–3:30 Monday–Thursday, 8:30–12:30 Friday Salary Salary is dependent on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
