Essential FunctionsThe Delivery Consultant is a key member of the Canadian Professional Services Delivery team. The Consultant works closely with local Sales and Delivery teams to plan, design and implement various Cloud solutions for clients:Design of Cloud environments with a focus on AWSContribute to organizational Cloud leadership and strategyProvide leadership and guidance to architects and engineers on designing high performance solutions within a cloud platform.Define technical architecture for productsCreate detailed solutions documents, technology roadmaps, and implementation plansAnalyze platform costs and find ways to minimize itCreate efficient processes for legacy on-prem to Cloud migrationsEducationFour years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalentBSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or 2-3 year Technologist Diploma or equivalentExperience3 to 5 years of experience2+ years’ experience in the design and provision of cloud technologies (any of AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with container/container orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless (Function as a Service) technologiesStrong technical background with hands-on implementation experience in enterprise applications, solutions and data center infrastructuresKnowledge of AWS and/or Azure and/or GCPStrong capability in technical writing for customer proposals, documentation or solution summaries.Those having strong organizational and interpersonal skills plus a demonstrated effectiveness in customer-facing roles are ideal.Strong presentation technical skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with account teams and partner organizationsCompelling communication skills across a wide variety of mediums and situations - including written and verbal communication and in presentations spanning formal and informal, from small to large audience.Required Travel – Approximately 15% - 20% annually within Canada where no travel restrictions in place.Work EnvironmentExpect to work at client site and available at designated office for meetingsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNo Supervisory Responsibility
