Overview Join to apply for the Countertop Installer/Templater role at FLOFORM Countertops. Required immediately, our Local Regina Branch is seeking a Full Time INSTALLER/TEMPLATER for COUNTERTOPS to join the team. FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year, with 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is recognized as one of the Best Managed Companies in North America. Position Summary The templater/installer is responsible for creating digital files/templates used in producing custom countertops. This includes programming a CNC router and preparing CAD files both in the shop and on job sites for fabrication of countertops in various materials. The role also involves installing stone countertops while representing FLOFORM professionally on job sites. Responsibilities Templating: Creates accurate digital drawings of countertops and sink files as required; travels to customers’ homes or businesses to create templates used in production; advises customers of any modifications required; responds to general customer inquiries on-site; maintains the company vehicle interior and exterior. Installation: Correctly installs stone countertops on site, maintains a professional demeanor, removes existing countertops and plumbing if required, handles customer inquiries and resolves issues with office support, troubleshoots installation problems, adheres to schedule, and maintains company vehicle standards. Qualifications Related secondary education with 2 years of related experience Intermediate mathematical and computer skills using Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and ability to learn other software Basic understanding of plumbing is an asset Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Motivated, hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Overtime availability as required Some overnight travel may be required Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance; capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling Clear driver’s license and criminal record check Benefits Competitive wages Medical and Dental RRSP Matching Paid Sick Time FLOFORM Countertops offers a positive and fun working environment.
