This developmental position prepares the individual for the responsibilities of a Department Manager, providing experience in merchandising, customer service, and operational standards. Responsibilities You will assist the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the cosmetic department. This role requires significant customer interaction and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while delivering quality service in a professional and courteous manner. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of one year of management retail experience; however, candidates without management experience may also be considered. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, strong merchandising and display skills, and professional sales experience. You will build the business by following and enforcing all Company policies, procedures, and standards, and by communicating effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and management. Qualifications – Minimum of one year management retail experience (preferred) – Extensive cosmetic product knowledge – Strong merchandising and creative display skills – Professional sales experience – Sound supervisory delegation and leadership skills – Positive attitude and willingness to support Company initiatives – Commitment to achieving Company objectives Employment Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part‑time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industry: Retail Regular Part‑time employees will be scheduled a minimum of 1,456 hours per year, up to 40 hours per week, as needed. Applicants must be available for a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, for day and evening shifts. From time to time, this position may require transferring between stores or working at other locations depending on organizational needs.
