Iris’s leading financial client is looking for a Business System Analyst with Banking to join their team in Toronto, ON (Hybrid) location. Job Title Business System Analyst with Banking Location Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration Long Term Job Description Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Product Owners to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements. Conduct data mapping and analysis to support system integration efforts. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support project delivery. Create structured plans and roadmaps (“plan for a plan”) to guide sequencing and execution. Navigate complex legacy systems (“peeling the layers of spaghetti”) to identify dependencies and integration points. Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks. Manage expectations across cross-functional teams and leadership. Support process navigation and ensure alignment with organizational standards and compliance. Provide domain and functional expertise in standard banking operations and technology. Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role. Proven experience in banking domain; experience with City National Bank is a strong asset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience with integration projects and legacy system analysis.
