As a Commercial Field Service Apprentice Electrician on the Tesla Energy Commercial Operations Team, you’ll work under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Electrician. This full-time role is focused on maintaining commercial PV, energy storage, and supercharging stations. While not all electrical disciplines are required, strong candidates should be capable of performing a variety of tasks including distribution power, lighting, and low voltage work.You’ll assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment such as power distribution, transformers, and inverters. Tasks include working with electrical systems up to 1000VDC, interpreting schematics and blueprints, and maintaining critical infrastructure.You’ll perform hands-on work servicing EV charging stations, battery energy storage systems, and other electrical components.
