Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Automotive Sales Consultant with proven experience in subprime sales to join our dedicated team at our well-established automotive dealership in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Key Responsibilities Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchase process, specializing in subprime and non-prime financing solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business Assess customer needs and preferences, offering suitable vehicle and financing options Collaborate with financial institutions and lenders to secure the best possible approvals for customers with challenging credit situations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, financing programs, and automotive trends Prepare and process all paperwork accurately and in compliance with dealership and regulatory standards Meet and exceed established sales targets and performance metrics Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of automotive sales experience, with a strong track record in subprime sales Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of subprime and non-prime lending practices in Nova Scotia Ability to build trust and rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an asset What We Offer Competitive commission and bonuses Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage Supportive work environment with ongoing training and development Opportunities for career advancement within a reputable dealership Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their résumé and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience to sandrews@autoonegroup.ca.
