Our “One Team Culture” values a winning attitude, continual learning and innovation, adaptability and flexibility, engagement, and having fun.What you will doLead and execute projects from conceptual design to construction and operation across water infrastructure and civil engineering domains.Work in a multidisciplinary team environment that fosters professional development and growth.Collaborate with KCB colleagues from other offices in Canada and internationally on technically complex projects.Travel to project locations, typically in Alberta, with potential travel to other Canadian provinces and international sites.We want to hear from you if you haveAre registered or are eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in CanadaHave a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil EngineeringHave a minimum of 8 years of work experience in the design and construction of dams, hydraulic structures, and other water infrastructure and civil engineering projectsWe value your experienceExperience in the design, tendering, and construction of water infrastructure and civil works.Experience in completing structural designs in steel, concrete, and wood.Proficiency with the application of building and design codes to structural designs.Use of structural analyses software programs such as Midas, RISA, and SAP.Broad understanding of construction methods and constructability.Experience in administering construction contracts including completing submittals review and site inspections.Strong verbal and written communication skills including experience in contributing to proposals, technical reports, construction specifications, and project correspondence to convey technical information to clients and peers.Exceptional time management and organizational skills, and ability to lead others to deliver high quality project deliverables on time and within budget.Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams.Knowledge of and experience in the application of CDA and other dam safety design guidelines, and other industry-recognized technical manuals or guidelines related to the design of hydraulic structures.Experience in dam safety inspections, dam safety reviews, failure mode and effects assessments, and risk assessments would be an asset.Commitment to mentoring and training junior team members.Collaborative team approach and ability to build long-term, successful relationships with clients and project teams.We encourage you to apply if you have any combination of the above listed experiences or skills.About UsKlohn Crippen Berger Ltd.
