Lead Network Security Engineer Base Pay Range CA$95.00/hr - CA$105.00/hr Job Description Insight Global is hiring a Lead Network Security Engineer to join a top banking client on a 7‑month contract in downtown Toronto. Requirements 8–12+ years in network engineering/security with at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role. Experience designing secure multisite or global enterprise networks, similar with large‑scale secure deployments. Core Competencies (Must Haves) Segmentation at scale: VLANs, VRFs, micro‑segmentation (NSXT), zone based policy models, zero‑trust enforcement across east–west and north–south flows. Network security engineering: firewall policy design (allowlists), IPS/IDS, TLS inspection, NAT, VPNs, secure B2B/transit demarcations. Migration leadership: wave planning, cutover runbooks, rollback paths, pre/post validation across networking, security, and application tiers.
