Job Description:

The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anesthesia and pain relief techniques to patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of pain specialists, ensuring the safe and effective management of patient pain before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia and sedation for interventional pain management procedures.
  • Collaborate with pain specialists to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Provide consultation and management for patients requiring complex pain relief.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Adhere to best practices in anesthesia safety and patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent medical degree.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in Ontario. (CPSO)
  • Experience in interventional pain management is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques, sedation protocols, and patient monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to patient-centered care and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 per hour
