Job Title Grocery Associate – FT (East Abbotsford) Position Summary We are hiring a Grocery Associate to support daily operations at our Parallel Food Store in Abbotsford, BC. Responsibilities Assist in organizing and directing department operations. Provide excellent, courteous service to guests, asking for their needs and helping with purchases. Escort customers to appropriate aisles and shelves. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly store environment. Stock and replace products to prevent damage. Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products. Prepare store displays and ensure accurate product labeling. Order out‑of‑stock products. Process customer orders and payments. Discard expired items and promote near‑expiry items on special promotions. Perform other duties as assigned. Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence. Qualifications Experience as a grocery clerk or in retail is an asset. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Basic math and computer skills. Motivation and ability to work in a busy environment. Commitment to a safe working environment. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Open availability for early mornings, afternoons, and late evenings. Willingness to work at the Parallel Food Store and potentially at other locations as needed. Reliable transportation (buses are not available for all shift times).
