Salary & Contract Salary From: $82,510.73 Job Summary The Finance Reporting & Analytics Specialist will support enterprise-wide reporting initiatives within the Finance division. The job is responsible for providing expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards using tools such as Oracle OTBI, Oracle FDI, SmartView and Power BI. The role ensures reporting solutions are accurate, timely and aligned with business needs. By creating and delivering accurate and timely reports, analytics data models and dashboards, the specialist enables data-driven decision‑making that strengthens financial operations across the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring WSIB has clear visibility into its financial health, supporting strategic planning, operational efficiency and organizational accountability. Major Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain real‑time and historical financial reports using Oracle OTBI and FDI; design and develop dashboards and visualizations in Power BI using data from Oracle Fusion Cloud and the Centralized Data Store (CDS). Lead and collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements for enterprise‑wide finance reporting initiatives and translate them into technical specifications; utilize Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) and Public View Objects (PVOs) for data extraction and transformation. Create and maintain SmartView multidimensional analysis reports. Utilize Financial Reporting Studio to create GL Financial Statement reports. Collaborate with IT on native reports using BI Publisher. Support data orchestration, cleansing and integration across multiple financial systems and data sources. Ensure compliance with data governance, security and retention policies. Lead and participate in workshops and intake processes to validate metrics and reporting needs. Monitor, test and validate reporting solutions to ensure alignment with organisational goals and stakeholder needs. Manage incidents affecting current Finance reports. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Engage and collaborate with other analytics teams in the organization and create open communication channels, working together on data and analytics advancement. Job Requirements Education University completion at the undergraduate level with a specialty focus in Information Systems, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Experience Five years prior experience in Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, OTBI, SmartView and Oracle FDI in a cloud ERP environment.
