We understand our customers’ need for service excellence and are committed to it.Wild Wing at Canlan is currently looking for a Shift SupervisorThis role is currently vacant.Rate of Pay: $20.85 - $21.90/ hourJOB SUMMARYOur hands-on F&B Shift Supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wild Wing restaurant in a professional manner. They provide leadership for all staff, ensuring that efficient food service, preparation and presentation consistently exceed guest expectations.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)Ensure there are no variances in cash or inventories during the shiftMaintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotionsReceive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when requiredEnsure team maintains or exceeds guest expectations in a cost-effective mannerCover team roles / shifts when requiredFront of house operations (Restaurant and Bar)Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process all transactions SQUIRREL system accuratelyApply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipmentBack of house operations (Kitchen)Competent in the use and care of kitchen tools and equipmentApply basic knowledge of food preparation (in keeping with standardized recipes)QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONSmart Serve, Serving It Right, (or equivalent) requiredFood Safe Certification preferredHigh school graduationABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCEAt least three years Food & Beverage experiencePrior team leadership background preferredOutgoing, positive and team orientatedExperienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system (SQUIRREL preferred)Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)If you are interested in learning more and becoming part of the Canlan team please apply online.NOTE: Only those applicants under consideration will be contacted.
