Mobile service work will be performed across a site network through the Greater Toronto Area in a company vehicle. We are seeking individuals able to work independently in coordination with site‑based Facility Maintenance teams. Individuals will be capable of attending to troubleshooting calls, completing maintenance tasks and replacing systems at the end of their life. The preferred candidate should have experience working in operating facilities. Candidates must have a clean driving record and comply with the company vehicle policies. Teamwork Work together with other staff, management, Facility staff and contractors, as and when required, in a cooperative, efficient and respectful manner to complete assigned work safely. Perform all duties in a safe, diligent and careful manner, and in strict compliance with Company and Site‑Specific occupational health and safety policies, rules and requirements. Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times in a manner consistent with good housekeeping practices. General Maintenance Perform a variety of maintenance, repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on Ccure 9000, Milestone VMS and Genetec VMS, network systems, fire systems. Working knowledge of electrical/electronic security, BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and systems as and when required, directed or assigned, consistent with his or her skills, abilities and training. Classification Specific Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems. Perform work in accordance with established processes and response and rectification guidelines. Comply with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, and fire protection. Perform regular facility equipment and systems monitoring and inspection, preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met and client operation and asset integrity are maintained. Communicate and record observations about facility equipment and system conditions and deficiencies and provide suggestions for enhancement and repair. Monitor facility by conducting facility walkthroughs, equipment and system monitoring and inspection. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and building systems. Respond promptly and courteously to routine and on‑demand service requests and perform preventative and corrective maintenance in a timely manner on facility equipment and systems. Record resolution data within the service maintenance management database. Ensure work completed meets quality, contract response and all other requirements. Receive, track, monitor and report status of maintenance and repair work within the service maintenance management database. Initiate documents to obtain formal approval of work required. Work with subcontractors on equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and calibration. Recommend spare parts and supply purchases for facility equipment. Accurately maintain and complete all equipment logbooks and maintenance records as required. Assist in the implementation of the preventative maintenance (PM) program. Ensure that deficiencies are identified, recorded, and escalated, and that related documentation is maintained. Participate in and assist with facility‑related project work. Ensure the manner in which work is performed is in compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, fire protection and any other applicable requirements. Maintain all assigned tools and arrange for repair and replacement where required. Assist in enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations through the manner in which work is performed and services delivered. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Must be able and willing to work flexible shifts, be available for on‑call/standby and emergency call‑outs when assigned. Regularly scheduled evening and weekend work and 12‑hour shift work may be required. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Must have the ability to use hand tools, lift/carry 50 lbs., and work on ladders/step stools. Requires working extended periods on his/her feet in a fast‑paced environment. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Must have good communication skills (verbally, written); must be able to speak and write in English. Must be familiar with use of building automation systems (BAS). Working knowledge of computers and handheld devices. Positive, professional disposition towards work and willingness to cooperate with co‑workers and supervisors and to contribute to a project team. Strong client‑service orientation along with a high sense of urgency. Ability to succeed in a team‑oriented environment under very dynamic (changing) conditions. Ability to maintain confidentiality of JCCLP and client related business activities. Reports to the Operations Manager(s) on duty. Receives and follows work direction and assignments from Central Dispatch Services (CDS) and designated Lead Hands. Preferred Software house Ccure 9000, Milestone VMS, Genetec VMS certifications. Knowledge of virtual software environments, networking, SQL database. Electronic and electrical knowledge is an asset. HIRING HOURLY RANGE $25 - $31.25 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
